6.3.3. Box lever

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On cars without the selector of the forward bridge transfer the box lever to the provision of 4 High. On the cars equipped with the selector, transfer the box lever to the situation High and establish the switch of a forward axis (2WD-4WD) in the situation Off.
2. Unscrew the screw (ы) fastenings of the handle and remove the handle.
3. On cars from a manual transmission remove the handle of the lever of a transfer case.
4. Remove the top forward panel of average section (see subsection 10.23).
5. Disconnect the socket from the switch of the selector of a forward axis (if the selector is provided).

6. On cars from a manual transmission unscrew 4 screws, take a lever cover (a photo at the left) and a frame. Then get a lock ring (a photo on the right).
	7. Remove the lever of a transfer case.
8. On cars with automatic transmission disconnect a rod from the lever, disconnect the socket, unscrew 8 bolts and remove the management mechanism in pine forest with the lever. Get a lock ring and remove the lever.
9. Establish the lever upside-down.
