6.3.5. Removal and installation of a transfer case

 Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the box lever.
2. Disconnect a hose сапуна.
3. Lift the car.
4. Remove a guard (shooters showed guard bolts).
5. Merge from a transfer case oil.
6. Remove driveshafts.
7. Disconnect from a box hoses and all sockets of conducting. Take wires aside.
8. Establish under transmission (check point) a prop. A prop not to clean before box installation.
9. Unscrew bolts of a support of a transfer case.
10. Remove a cross-piece.
11. Establish under a transfer case a prop, it is recommended to fix a box chains.
12. Unscrew 8 bolts of fastening of a box to a transmission case.
13. Be convinced that all necessary details are disconnected and displace a box back, keeping horizontal situation. After an exit of a leading shaft lower a box and get from under the car.

14. If the box changes, remove the switch of a control lamp of the forward bridge, the switch of a control lamp of a demultiplikator (a photo at the left) and the sensor of speed (a photo on the right). Rearrange these details on a new box.
15. Check a condition of rubber rings (arrow) of the sensor of speed, if necessary replace.

Installation

Installation is carried out upside-down. Tighten bolts of a box with the set moment.
