3.3.9.1. Dismantle

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The crankshaft can be removed only after engine dismantle from the car. Previously remove a flywheel (or a leading disk), a pulley-uspokoitel, a belt (chain), the pallet, a maslopriyemnik, the oil pump, a forward cover and rods with pistons.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Previously check axial люфт the crankshaft. Displace the crankshaft towards a back part of the engine, having made the maximum effort, and in this situation establish an indicator scale on a zero. Then push a cranked shaft towards a forward part of the engine and consider indicator indications. The size axial люфта is equal to distance on which the shaft moved.
2. If axial люфт exceeds standard value, check wear of persistent surfaces of cheeks of the crankshaft. If their wear insignificant, it is necessary to replace half rings
3. In the absence of a display head люфт it is possible to measure by means of a set щупов. Carefully displace the crankshaft towards a forward part of the engine and measure axial люфт, laying щупы between a cheek of the crankshaft and a surface of the 3rd (persistent) radical bearing on 4-cylinder engines, or the 2nd radical bearing (V6).
4. Check existence on covers of oriyentatsionny arrows and markings of number of the cylinder (are specified by an arrow). Usually covers are numbered beginning from a forward part of the engine, oriyentatsionny shooters are turned towards a front.
5. If marking is absent, put labels with a stamp. Labels are put on inflow near a bolt head.
6. Release bolts of covers on 1/4 turns at one time in sequence of return specified (at the left – 4-cylinder engines, on the right – engines 6V), until then while bolts will not begin to turn away by hand. On engines 3VZ-FE (V6) of a cover are executed in the form of a uniform framework. Designate the provision of hairpins which are used as directing pins.
7. Carefully displace covers and remove them together with the loose leaf (ами).
