3.3. Dismantle and major maintenance of the engine
In this subsection the order of performance of such works, as dismantle of the power unit from the car and major maintenance of a head of the block of cylinders, the block of cylinders / case of the crankshaft, and other details of the engine is in detail considered. Advice on preparation and the organization of works on major maintenance and acquisition of spare parts is given, procedures of removal, check of a technical condition, repair and installation of knots and engine details are in detail described. Since the following section the description is kept in the assumption that the engine is removed from the car. The description of types of repair without removal of the engine from the car is provided in subsection 3.1.2 and subsection 3.2.2. At the beginning of subsection all standard data necessary for check of a technical condition and major maintenance which procedures are described below are provided.
