6.2.5. The blocking switch
GENERAL INFORMATION

The switch blocks engine start in all positions of the selector except P and N. Otherwise check or switch replacement is required.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car.
2. Disconnect from the switch the socket.
3. At the switched-off ignition check resistance between switch conclusions (see tab. Resistance between switch conclusions). If necessary adjust the switch or replace.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Transfer the selector to situation N.
2. Release a bolt of the switch (2) and adjust situation, for this purpose release a bolt, insert a flute (3) in the area of a neutral (1) and, holding the switch, tighten a bolt.
3. For switch replacement расконтрите a washer also unscrew a nut.
4. Unscrew a bolt and remove the switch.
5. Assembly is carried out upside-down. Adjust the switch.
