All-wheel drive Toyota 4 Runner/Hilux/Surf cars are equipped with an electromagnetic drive of a forward leading axis (ADD system).

At inclusion of a forward axis the drive blocks the left semi-axis through which the torque from the engine is transferred.

When using blocking of a semi-axis need for being blocked naves is excluded, loads of CV JOINTS, covers and details of differential which rotate even at the disconnected lobby of an axis however increase, and their wear amplifies.

On cars with such system of a semi-axis and covers demand especially attentive check.

At abnormal inclusion and switching off of a forward axis it is necessary to execute considered below check.

If the taken measures do not give result, it is necessary to hand over the car in car-care center.
