Forward and back driveshafts of all-wheel drive Toyota 4 Runner/Hilux/Surf cars
On Toyota 4 Runner/Hilux/Surf cars the one-section back driveshaft with 2 kardanny hinges is established. A forward shaft (on all-wheel drive cars) and a back shaft are equipped with sliding shlitsevy connection. This connection is executed at the same time with a fork of the hinge and is a part of the driveshaft. From a transfer case (on all-wheel drive cars) shaft fasten through a flange condensed by 2 epiploons (see subsection 6.3.2). At operation care of driveshafts is reduced to condition check, stock-taking of balancing counterbalances and their fixing, and also to cleaning. Greasings of hinges as a rule it is not required. |
