1. The system of cooling should be checked on the cold engine therefore described below procedure it is better to carry out either before a trip, or after a trip, not less than three hours later after an engine stop. |
2. Carefully unscrew a stopper of a radiator and carefully wipe rags from the inside. Wipe a radiator mouth, existence on a mouth of traces of corrosion or oil indicates need of change of cooling liquid (presence of oil testifies to violation of tightness of laying of a head of cylinders). Liquid in a broad tank and a radiator should be rather pure and transparent. If liquid is painted by a rust, or has an oily film, merge liquid, wash out system and fill in a fresh cooling mix in the necessary proportion. |
3. Carefully check radiator and heater hoses on all their length. At detection of swellings, cracks or mechanical damages hoses replace. Cracks on a hose are better visible at its peregibaniye. Special attention give to collars which hoses to details of system of cooling fix.

4. Check existence of traces of a podtekaniye on all details of system of cooling (including hoses, demountable connections, etc.). Traces of a leak of liquid are usually shown in the form of a white raid or a rust. At detection of such traces on details of system replace a detail or laying. Replace all shplintovy (wire) collars with collars with a screw inhaling. |
5. Clear a forward part of a radiator of insects, leaves etc., taken root into a lattice. Be careful not to damage a radiator tube. |
